Three Kings Charcoal - Quick Lighting 40mm (100 count) | Cathedral Candle

“Let my prayer rise like incense before you.”

The use of incense during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, solemn processions, and Eucharistic Adoration is a sacred sensory tradition, symbolizing the prayers of the faithful ascending like a sweet fragrance before the throne of God. To ensure that your parish’s aromatic incense burns smoothly and steadily without foul smoke or distracting delays in the sacristy, you need dependable, premium-grade charcoal tablets for incense.

Backed by more than 80 years of European manufacturing expertise, Three Kings quick-lighting charcoal is the gold standard trusted by Catholic cathedrals, monastic houses, and parish sacristans worldwide.

Chiarelli’s Church Supply is pleased to offer this benchmark liturgical charcoal, distributed in North America by the renowned Cathedral Candle Company. Formulated specifically for religious ceremonies, Three Kings charcoal briquettes eliminate the common frustrations associated with inferior coals.

• Instant Quick-Lighting Formula: Ignites in seconds when touched with a standard match or sacristy candle lighter, spreading an even glow across the tablet without requiring prolonged torching.

• Pure & Completely Odorless: Made from high-grade natural ingredients that burn completely free of harsh chemical fumes, sulfur, or acrid smoke, allowing the pure natural aroma of your church incense to fill the nave uncontaminated.

• Smooth, Long-Lasting Heat: Delivers a steady, sustained burn for the duration of the liturgy, ensuring your frankincense, myrrh, or custom blends melt thoroughly down to fine ash without extinguishing prematurely.

• Generous 40mm Diameter: Each substantial briquette measures 40mm (approximately 1.5 inches) across, providing an ample concave surface designed to cradle granular resins, powdered incense, or aromatic tears securely inside the thurible.

• Bulk Sacristy Box: Packed with 100 individually wrapped tablets organized in protective rolls, shielding the briquettes from ambient moisture and humidity between liturgical celebrations.
