Exquisitely adorned in royal blue with genuine gold leaf accents, this imagery is an ancient and regal symbol of the Holy Trinity. The top ornamental band also includes a symbolic depiction of bees in reference to the Exsultet (the Easter Proclamation) sung during the Vigil. This proclamation praises the "work of the bees" in creating the wax that feeds the holy flame.
