While Renaissance and Baroque monstrances typically favor a round, radiating sunburst pattern (reminiscent of a halo or the sun), a Gothic monstrance is defined by its architectural, cathedral-like structure. Inspired by High Middle Ages cathedral design, Gothic ostensoria incorporate pointed arches, delicate tracery, pinnacles, and intricate filigree that draw the viewer's eyes upward toward heaven.

The Molina 7205 stands out as a triumph of traditional metalworking techniques and incredible statuary. Surrounding the central halo and crowning the piece are extraordinarily detailed sculpted figures representing the Holy Spirit, Custodian Angels, St. Peter, St. Paul, and the Madonna with Child at the apex.

The node and the broad 9-inch base feature extensive chiseled, embossed, and fine hand-engraved patterns, adding incredible relief and texture that captures sanctuary light.

The central enclosure is framed by delicate, openwork filigree lace, highlighting the 3-1/8" luna.
