Why choose Cavanagh altar bread? For over 70 years, Cavanagh Company has proudly baked and packaged its high-quality altar bread in the USA. Each batch is engineered to meet the exact requirements of canon law while simplifying communion distribution for clergy and extraordinary ministers.

• Pure Canonical Recipe: Baked exclusively from pure wheat flour and water with zero added conditioners, preservatives, or artificial ingredients, guaranteeing canonical validity at the altar.
• Embossed Traditional Cross: Each 1-3/8" wafer is stamped with a crisp, reverent cross design, enhancing the visual solemnity of the Eucharistic feast.
• Specialized Sealed Edges: Features Cavanagh's signature molded, sealed perimeter that prevents flaking and eliminates loose crumbs in the ciborium or on the communion paten.
• Untouched Hygienic Packaging: Baked and hermetically sealed into heavy-duty containers within minutes of leaving the griddle, ensuring the hosts remain completely pure and untouched by human hands until opened in your sacristy.
• Bulk Quantity Counts: Available in airtight, moisture-resistant canisters containing either 750 or 1,000 hosts to easily match the weekly census of your parish.

The celebration of Holy Mass centers upon the dignity of the Eucharistic sacrifice, requiring altar elements prepared with canonical adherence, cleanliness, and reverence. Provide your communion ministers and communicants with hosts baked with uncompromising reverent care!
