Sacred Iconography & Welcoming Gesture

Unlike static or rigid depictions, this Sacred Heart of Jesus Statue by Demetz captures Our Lord in a moment of intimate, personal invitation.

• Gesture of Tender Welcome: Jesus stands with one hand extended outward in a gesture of gentle welcome to all who enter the nave, while His other hand rests reverently at His radiating Sacred Heart.

• Serene, Holy Expression: The face of Christ is rendered with a calm, compassionate, and forgiving look that draws the eyes and comforts the heart of the viewer.

• Realistic Drapery & Lifelike Color: Every robe fold is carved with fluid, naturalistic depth. The figure is hand-painted in rich, realistic colors with delicate tonal shading that highlights the anatomical precision of the sculpture.
